Bird Eye Views of the world’s most beautiful locations by Russian Photographers of Air Pano will leave you breathless and speechless

The team of Russian photographers and specialists by Air Pano travels the world to take stunning aerial photos of the world’s most beautiful locations.

“Although we usually photograph from a helicopter, we also like to shoot from an airplane, a dirigible, a hot air balloon, and a radio-controlled helicopter,” they write. The most interesting thing about their approach, however, is the fully 360-degree displays that they make available on their websites. Using AirPano’s special viewer, visitors can pan around and look in every direction, making them feel like they’re really on location.

Scroll on to see their photos from all over the world, and be sure to visit their website, too!

Delicate artistic paper masks of animal faces full of colours and beauty

Paper masks by Mlle Hipolyte

French artist Mlle Hipolyte’s colorful paper masks feature intricate, origami-like designs to form whimsical animal faces that people can really wear. Feathery paper triangles stacked in layers create a rich texture that resembles fur. The artist skillfully chooses and arranges slips of complementary shades of paper to create a sense of depth. The masks include some of the most adorable and beloved creatures in the animal kingdom, such as raccoons, foxes and tigers. They can offer an imaginative outlet for a child’s playtime, and they’re good for grown-ups, too: Imagine the possibilities for costume parties and whimsical home decorations.

Although primarily an illustrator, Hipolyte branches out into three-dimensional art through his paper creations He’s also known for adorable paper-animal wall hangings and magnificent free-standing animal sculptures made entirely out of paper.

Glow-in-the-Dark Bike Path Inspired by a Van Gogh Painting

Van Gogh-Roosegaard Bicycle Path by Studio Roosegaarde

The Dutch-based Studio Roosegaarde just unveiled a stunning illuminated trail in Nuenen, Netherlands. Called Van Gogh-Roosegaard Bicycle Path, it’s based on the famous Vincent Van Gogh painting The Starry Night. This kilometer-long section is part of a cycle route through the province of Noord Brabant, where the artist was born and raised.

The swirling surface patterns are coated with a special paint that gathers enough energy during the day to glow after dark. In addition, there are LEDs along the sides of certain curves that cast extra light, and this means that the path is still partially lit if the weather is too cloudy to adequately charge it.

This display is both gorgeous and performs a valuable public service; cyclists now have a better way to see in the dark. And, it’s not the first time that Studio Roosegaarde has created something for the greater social good. They recently launched a pilot Smart Highway that uses the same photo-luminescent paint to mark the edges of the road.
