Jake Weidmann – Youngest Master Penman of this world.

Only 12 People In The World Can Do THIS…And He’s The Youngest.

Jake Weidmann carries a distinction he shares with only 11 other people in the world and they are all at least 30 years his senior. What does he do, you ask? Calligraphy like a boss, that’s what! Jake is a Master Penman.

This young artist has always had a passion for penmanship, sprung from a natural perfectionism his mother claims as her contribution to his awesomeness. She says he was “always the last one out for recess” because he would be so focused on what he was writing. As you will see, Jake creates images you would never believe could be drawn with a dip pen and inkwell.

Air and Noise Pollution Resistant Urban Treehouse Protecting Residents

Designed by Luciano Pia, Located in Turin, Italy, the facade also features silhouetted metal trees that foster the look and feel of a magnificent tree house.

25 Verde brings plants up off the ground in an attempt to evade Turin’s homogeneous urban scene and integrate life into the facade of the residential building.

There are 150 trees scattered along the outside of the residential building, and they absorb nearly 200,000 liters of carbon dioxide an hour. So, the lush greenery is not only aesthetically pleasing, but its natural absorption helps to eliminate harmful pollutants (such as car exhaust) as well as disruptive outside noise. Its presence also benefits the inside of the building, too. The plants’ full leaves in the spring and summer months mean that they help to block out the harsh sun. When they’re leafless in the winter, however, they bring in much-needed light to warm up the building.

To represent the notion that books shape who we are, Matsunaga and his team created sculptures of children made entirely from books. The sculptures were then photographed in various classrooms and libraries accompanied by short inspirational phrases like “We are made of our childhood books”
